The Role
Are you a marketing powerhouse with a passion for running and the sports industry? We're looking for a highly motivated Senior Marketing & Partnerships Manager to join our dynamic team and drive impactful initiatives across Let’s Do This’s marketing channels and brand partnerships.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns in collaboration with brand partners, ensuring alignment with their objectives and our brand story. These projects will be yours to own and deliver from briefing to delivery and wrap up.
Manage and nurture relationships with brand partners, exceeding expectations and driving mutual success
Ownership of the entire partnership marketing calendar, with a key focus on being able to prioritise workstreams that come in, in collaboration with more senior stakeholders
Craft compelling campaigns that resonate with our audience, are grounded in insights, and achieve key metrics like engagement and conversion, with a strong eye on editorial quality and value to our Let’s Do This audience. This will include content creation e.g. running shoots with third party production partners, working with our community and influencers to create this content.
Manage the scoping, contractual and financial elements of these relationships / projects working with the relevant internal stakeholders e.g. our Head of Legal and Brand Director etc.
Collaborate with internal teams (design, content, etc.) to develop fresh, high-quality content that informs, inspires, and activates our audience.
Proactively identify and evaluate potential brand partnerships, assessing fit and potential ROI.
Monitor campaign performance and analyse data to optimise engagement and achieve objectives.
Ensure all marketing deliverables meet the highest brand standards and maintain consistent brand voice and messaging.
About you
6+ years of experience in a marketing role, (sports or agency experience a big plus)
Proven track record of success in managing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, notably within email and social content with strong knowledge of best practices, trends and optimisations.
Extensive, hands on experience in content creation and production partner management, as well as experience working with influencers and content creators
Experience scoping and managing multiple projects, engaging the right internal stakeholders and departments and managing the contractual and financial process
Strong budget management accountability and experience reporting finances to the business
Experience developing and nurturing brand partnerships to mutual benefit
Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic team, sharing relevant updates to ensure all team members are clear with their role and expectations, and you’re clearly communicating your progress/potential flags in a timely manner to stakeholders
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to take initiative. This is a start up environment, so being adaptable and OK within a dynamic environment where you're helping build the processes we need is a must.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
A genuine enthusiasm for running and the sports industry, with a deep understanding of current trends and athletes
Bonus points:
Experience in content creation (writing, editing)
Strong analytics skills and experience with marketing dashboard
Experience working with influencer marketing campaigns
Experience working CRM platforms (we use Braze)
