The Role
We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead a new Monetization team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, focused on increasing revenue per user through brand partnership and affiliate opportunities as well as cost-reduction opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and validating new monetization opportunities across our consumer-facing products, building experiences that are valuable to participants and partners alike, and integrating these into our core product in a way that’s additive—not interruptive—to the user journey.
Your first focus will be on Third Party Brand Partnerships: think integrating relevant apparel or nutrition brands into event pages, confirmation screens, or within the app, earning commissions on sales and sharing this revenue with event organizers to accelerate our sales pipeline.
You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, and our commercial partnerships team to drive strategy, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship iteratively. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s excited to build, test, learn fast—and shape an extremely impactful part of the business.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the Monetization product strategy, with a strong consumer lens across web and mobile.
- Identify and validate new revenue opportunities, starting with third-party brand integrations.
- Work closely with our Partnerships, Commercial, and B2B teams to ensure new monetization products are viable and valuable to all sides of the marketplace.
- Collaborate with design and engineering to ship high-quality features that enhance the user experience and deliver measurable impact.
- Bring a mobile-first mindset to product discovery and prioritization, leveraging app-specific capabilities and user behaviors.
- Leverage AI tooling and technologies to drive monetization efficiency and scale, and build differentiated products consumers love.
- Run experiments and analyze performance to iterate quickly and continuously improve outcomes.
- Ensure organizers see clear value from any monetization opportunities surfaced in their event flows or registration journeys.
- Advocate for the participant—ensuring monetization efforts enhance, not disrupt, the experience.
- Continuously gather insights from users, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, with a track record of shipping impactful features in a B2C context.
- 6+ years of total work experience.
- Experience building products in mobile apps.
- Experience with monetization, partnerships, e-commerce, or affiliate products is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working 0→1: identifying opportunity areas, running lean experiments, and iterating toward scalable solutions.
- Familiarity or experience with AI products or tooling, whether to improve internal processes or build impactful product solutions.
- Highly collaborative—you work well across engineering, design, data, and commercial teams.
- Strategic thinker who can also dive into the details and ship MVPs to learn quickly.
- Data-informed and comfortable working with data, setting goals, and digging into performance.
